Launay–Slade Hallucination Scale-Extended: simplifying its interpretation

چکیده

Background The Launay–Slade Hallucination Scale – Extended (LSHS-E) is one of the most used self-reported questionnaires to explore multidimensionality hallucinatory-like experiences (HLEs). This scale defined as a 5-level Likert scale, which goes from 0-“certainly does not apply me” 4-“certainly applies me.” Like any LSHS-E assumes that ordinal categories are equally spaced among them, might be true, giving rise possible issues in offering valid interpretation responses.Method study introduces parametric model: ordered stereotype model. model determines uneven spacing responses, dictated by studied data. Results work shows determined both unequal and last three adjacent categories, makes them indistinguishable. Subsequent analysis showed good internal reliability, also four-factor structure was maintained. Conclusions current study’s findings suggest people who suffer HLEs easily disclose their so give neutral responses for fear being stigmatized. Further, identify at risk psychosis, individuals during prodromal stage may aware transient or fleeting HLEs. Future research should determine distance on first step before analyzing understanding data.

[Reliability and validity of the auditory hallucination-like experience scale].

Auditory hallucinations are important symptoms when making a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Since normal people may also experience auditory hallucinations, there may be a spectrum of auditory hallucinations ranging from those experienced in schizophrenia to those experienced by normal people. To assess the propensity to auditory hallucinations in a non-clinical population, we selected forty items...

Simplifying A Logic Program Using Its Consequences

A consequence of a logic program is a consistent set of literals that are satisfied by every answer set. The well-founded model is a consequence that can be used to simplify the logic program. In this paper, we extend the notion of well-founded models to consequences for simplifying disjunctive logic programs (DLPs) in a general manner. Specifically, we provide two main notions, strong reliable...

Extended Planck Scale

Abstract Traditional derivations of the Planck mass ignore the role of charge and spin in general relativity. From the Kerr-Newman null surface and horizon radii, quantized charge and spin dependence are introduced in an extended Planck scale of mass. Spectra emerge with selection rules dependent upon the choice of Kerr-Newman radius to link with the Compton wavelength. The appearance of the fi...

Extended and Compact Extragalactic Interpretation and Theory

The interpretation of strong double radio sources in terms of the "beam" model is reviewed. Implications of this model for source evolution and the nature of radio trails are briefly discussed. A final section is concerned with deductions about the properties of compact and variable components in quasars and galactic nuclei.

Extended Dependency Structures and their Formal Interpretation

We describe two “semantically-oriented” dependency-structure formalisms, U-forms and S-forms. U-forms have been previously used in machine translation as interlingual representations, but without being provided with a formal interpretation. S-forms, which we introduce in this paper, are a scoped version of U-forms, and we define a compositional semantics mechanism for them. Two types of semanti...
